I wasn’t always a writer.

I spent 20 years in business, founding companies and specialising in entrepreneurship and innovation. During this time, I worked with some amazing colleagues but always felt my calling was elsewhere.

So, I tried my hand at teaching and found I was put on this planet to work with children. I taught primary and secondary, loving every minute and every child.

Students came to lessons with enthusiasm, positivity, and a spring in their step from feeling happy and safe. Parents asked if I could capture that magic, and that’s where the idea of writing came from…

I coached youth football during this period, and that became the inspiration for my debut writing project - Misfits FC, a feel-good Middle Grade series about football, friendships and the ups and downs of chasing a dream.

I currently spend my time between Belgium, Switzerland and the UK, where I enjoy writing, tutoring and getting involved in social impact projects.
